ABOUT ME

I am a qualified personal trainer based in Clontarf with a wide range of training experience. I have a degree in Biochemistry from Trinity College Dublin and lab based medical experience which has formed the basis of my decade long obsession with optimal nutrition for health and aesthetics.

A few years ago, I was unfit and unhealthy; the only exercise I’d ever gotten was looking for the remote to change the channel. I know how difficult the journey is from complete beginner to accomplished athlete and I believe the most important factor in keeping fit is to find a sport that you like and make exercise enjoyable. I work closely with all my clients to ensure that their programme is not just one that they will stick to but one that they will really enjoy doing and look forward to.

I am also a qualified weightlifting coach and for almost two years I have been coached and mentored by Irish Olympic weightlifting legend, Tommy Hayden. I compete in weightlifting myself; both nationally and internationally and I am on the ladies national weightlifting squad. I’ve broken a few national records and I currently hold the national record in the clean and Jerk. To see what I'm currently up to, check it out here.

I won "Ireland's fittest female" three times at the Crossfit Ireland Invitational and took second place twice. I was Irish Drug Free Powerlifting Federation ladies winner 2010, I hold three national records in the women's unequipped 63kg class for the squat, deadlift and total. I also competed in the Flora Women's mini marathon and intend to do so again in the not too distant future.
I have quite a diverse range of training experience and I intend to keep expanding my knowledge and expertise. Stay tuned for Kettlebell, Zumba and Pilates classes coming soon amongst other things!
